Hunter Veach has spent the last 5 years coaching collegiate softball at both the NAIA and NCAA Division I levels at Auburn University Montgomery and Auburn University respectively.
During Veach’s two years as a Volunteer and Assistant Coach at Auburn University, Veach held the resposiblity as an infield, pitching, and hitting instructor.
Most notably as the pitch caller and primary pitching coach during the 2017 season, Veach helped lead the Tigers to a SEC championship as well as pair of NCAA tournaments appearances. Capturing a super regional championship and making it to the WCWS championship series in the 2016 season.
Prior to Auburn Veach spent three years as a volunteer assistant coach at Auburn-Montgomery. Veach was instrumental in the Warhawks’ success helping lead the program to two NAIA National Championships in 2014 and 2015. Both times AUM won the national championship, the coaching staff earned accolades as the NAIA Softball National Coaching Staff of the Year.
While in Montgomery, Veach helped coach four NAIA All-Americans and tutored Cassie Jones who was named the 2015 NAIA Player of the Year. Auburn-Montgomery team went 45-12, 44-7 and 46-8 advancing to the NAIA Softball World Series all three seasons (2013-15) Veach spent at AUM.
